* The Dawdlers are playing Silo's in Napa for the first time on Thursday, 12/28, and are really looking forward to bringing the holiday cheer to Napa (Tom'll have it in his trunk)! May Plays
* A big week-end for me with local guitar heroes, I'll be down at Lucca tomorrow night, May 12th, playing a trio with Benicians Stef Burns & Jeff Campitelli (it's a one-off assembly and a great chance to see Stef play for free while he's briefly in town), then on Saturday back at the Clubhouse in Martinez at 6:30 PM doing the now occasional duo gig with Jeff Tamelier.
* The Dawdlers play at Wente on 5/28.Should be a great setting, day and event.

Have a couple of shows coming up where I'll play all by myself, (very unusual these days):

One is a slightly last minute thing, tomorrow night, Saturday, July 16th, here in my Martinez backyard, at The Clubhouse Grill, 6:30-9:30 PM. They started music recently on Saturdays, and have asked me to fill the empty slot. I figured I can't beat the commute, and this gives me a chance to dust off my Cat Stevens, James Taylor and other mothballed tunes. So, if you live in Contra Costa and like sports…
Shows in June & July
* NEXT Thursday, June 23rd, The Dawdlers return to Kinder's in Benicia, next to the weekly farmer's market on 1st St., from 6-9 PM, but, in our midst this time will be Benician and well known whacker of objects in time (long time drummer of Joe Satriani's), Mr. Jeff Campitelli. Yayyy! Then.....
* Sunday afternoon, July 17th The (Campitelli enhanced) Dawdlers will play a brand new music venue, also on 1st St. in Benicia, the Lucca Beer Garden, outdoors, from about 2:30 - 5:30 (give or take a half-hour - firm time TBD), in what we hope will be the first of many performances there. It should be a really nice venue, with a beautiful setting, and great afternoon light, a nice raised stage, an outdoor cabana bar, etc. Should be one of the better spots we play, and one of the better places for musicians to play, in general.
(If you're inclined to see any upcoming shows, we'd be grateful to see you at this one, as it's a great spot and we'd like to make a strong first showing.)
