(and possibly bass on a couple of tunes) with old friends and associates Jeff Tamelier and Tom "T" Moran, who along with David Margen and Tony Stead, make up 'The Sunday Paper', a mainly R&B/Funk/Rock jam group of significant resume which haunts Armando's in Martinez one Sunday afternoon a month with different guest singers each month. This month's guest lead vocalist is Joe Bithorn of Rain (and before that Beatlemania itself, the original Beatle tribute). Joe is "George" in Rain, and so also plays lead guitar, and will be there to commemorate the 14th anniversary of George Harrison's passing (we expect the gig to be more festive than the event it marks). I will join the band on the Beatles tunes they'll be playing (they'll play much else, as well) to sing the high "Paul" harmonies familiar to me from my day job, and I'll be singing background on a couple of Steely Dan songs, as well (get to do my Michael McDonald impersonation on 'Peg').
