* NEXT Thursday, June 23rd, The Dawdlers return to Kinder's in Benicia, next to the weekly farmer's market on 1st St., from 6-9 PM, but, in our midst this time will be Benician and well known whacker of objects in time (long time drummer of Joe Satriani's), Mr. Jeff Campitelli. Yayyy! Then.....
* Sunday afternoon, July 17th The (Campitelli enhanced) Dawdlers will play a brand new music venue, also on 1st St. in Benicia, the Lucca Beer Garden, outdoors, from about 2:30 - 5:30 (give or take a half-hour - firm time TBD), in what we hope will be the first of many performances there. It should be a really nice venue, with a beautiful setting, and great afternoon light, a nice raised stage, an outdoor cabana bar, etc. Should be one of the better spots we play, and one of the better places for musicians to play, in general.
(If you're inclined to see any upcoming shows, we'd be grateful to see you at this one, as it's a great spot and we'd like to make a strong first showing.)

Subject: Live Music Program soon to begin at Lucca Beer Garden
Hi it’s Marty from Lucca Beer Garden announcing that our long anticipated outdoor music venue and beer garden will be up and running by early June.
Lucca Bar & Grill was established in 2009 and is having a good run as Benicia’s premier dining establishment and watering hole. Two years ago a scheme to open an outdoor annex directly adjacent to the restaurant was hatched. The new venue will be dog friendly, family friendly, neighborhood friendly and especially musician friendly.
Initially we see the live performance schedule being Thursday thru Saturday 5 PM to 8 PM, and Sundays early thru mid afternoon, to be determined soon.
Benicia is a very music friendly town and our opening is much anticipated. We will present a fun and relaxed environment and our musical offerings will be much like our new 20 tap draft beer system which is selected to be inclusive of all styles, as long as it’s good!
