I have recently had the happy honor of one of my recordings being used by my favorite of all the bright lights in the alternative media world, Irishman & musician/DJ John Gibbons, for his show Alchemy Radio. The recording is my most recent, of the song, “It's a Bit (Over)”, and it appears in its entirety at the end of Mr. Gibbons most recent interview of Australian Max Igan (click HERE for interview).

* NEXT Thursday, June 23rd, The Dawdlers return to Kinder's in Benicia, next to the weekly farmer's market on 1st St., from 6-9 PM, but, in our midst this time will be Benician and well known whacker of objects in time (long time drummer of Joe Satriani's), Mr. Jeff Campitelli. Yayyy! Then.....
* Sunday afternoon, July 17th The (Campitelli enhanced) Dawdlers will play a brand new music venue, also on 1st St. in Benicia, the Lucca Beer Garden, outdoors, from about 2:30 - 5:30 (give or take a half-hour - firm time TBD), in what we hope will be the first of many performances there. It should be a really nice venue, with a beautiful setting, and great afternoon light, a nice raised stage, an outdoor cabana bar, etc. Should be one of the better spots we play, and one of the better places for musicians to play, in general.
(If you're inclined to see any upcoming shows, we'd be grateful to see you at this one, as it's a great spot and we'd like to make a strong first showing.)

Tom pretty much ran the table with an embarrassment of riches display of musical prowess, playing around 50 instruments one night in about 10 minutes, and again making me sound like I know what I'm doing. Vlad dug out the violin he…
