One is a slightly last minute thing, tomorrow night, Saturday, July 16th, here in my Martinez backyard, at The Clubhouse Grill, 6:30-9:30 PM. They started music recently on Saturdays, and have asked me to fill the empty slot. I figured I can't beat the commute, and this gives me a chance to dust off my Cat Stevens, James Taylor and other mothballed tunes. So, if you live in Contra Costa and like sports bars (and/or my voice) it's a friendly place (I eat there a lot, actually).

Then on Sunday, August 21st, I will do a set of mostly original songs at pianist Sam Rudin’s new Berkeley music venue,
The Back Room, 1984 Bonita Ave., (510) 381-1997, 4-7 PM
I’ll be opening for my friend and terrific storytelling folk and Americana singer-songwriter, Michael McNevin, and he and I will sit-in with each other a bit on the other guy’s set, as will Sam with me
(and maybe Mike, too) on the piano for a few songs.
